
Sustainability Takes Center Stage at Bharat Tex 2025

Usha Yarns continues to lead the way in sustainable textile development, securing the 1st Runner-Up Award in the IDH Best Alternative Materials Use category at the CITI Sustainability Awards 2024-25.
Organized by the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), the prestigious awards recognize outstanding contributions to sustainability within the Indian textile sector. The ceremony, held at Bharat Tex 2025 in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, was graced by Shri Pabitra Margherita, Hon’ble Minister of State for Textiles; Smt. Neelam Shami Rao, IAS, Secretary; Shri Rohit Kansal, IAS, Additional Secretary;
Smt. Prajakta L. Verma, IAS, Joint Secretary; and other distinguished dignitaries. This achievement marks yet another milestone for Usha Yarns, following its 1st Recycling and Sustainability Award win in 2023. The recognition underscores our relentless efforts in developing sustainable alternatives and reinforcing the importance of circularity in textiles.
